Szilard joined Bogle Architects in 2012 and was promoted to Associate in 2016. During this time he has been the project architect of the Early Learning Village Singapore, a high quality early years facility for 2000+ children. He was also involved in a high rise residential scheme in Vauxhall, London as well as the Snegiri ECO residential development in Moscow. Szilard is currently working on a mixed use development in north-east London and various education projects in Southeast Asia.
Before joining Bogle Architects, Szilard was working with Ian Bogle at BFLS (formerly
Hamiltons). Joining in 2007, he worked on a wide range of projects including a high quality residential development in Chiswick, a 170 bed student housing in the City of London and a 234 key hotel in Waterloo, London. Szilard was also involved in a number of successful international design competitions such as the award winning ELI Laser facility in Prague, the Glyndwr Student Residences in Wales and an Intercontinental Hotel in Yerevan.
Szilard graduated with a BSc in Architecture in Budapest in 2004 and was awarded an MSc in Architecture at the Science University of Pecs, Hungary.
Before moving to London he mainly worked on sustainable residential developments for
Cook Associates in Faversham, Kent and Banati+Hartvig in Budapest, where he was
involved in the refurbishment and remodelling of the Castle Bazaar buildings in the Castle of Buda, listed as UNESCO World Heritage.
