Rezidence Stodolní in Ostrava, Czech Republic, adopts a contemporary urban form that responds to the historic fabric of the city centre. The design respects the established street alignments and spatial rhythm of Stodolní and Masná streets, as well as the neighbouring Galerie Plato. A multi-storey composition with recessed upper levels defines the building’s relationship to its surroundings, while integrated public spaces and carefully articulated facades ensure a coherent urban presence. Emphasis is placed on visual continuity with nearby cultural buildings, an active ground level, and well-structured pedestrian connections. The project aims to introduce a refined architectural addition to Ostrava’s evolving city centre.
