The compact building extends the current Institute's headquarters to allow administrative accommodation for its research programmes. The elegant volume includes thermal heat pumps, solar power plants, enhanced thermal insulation, airtight envelope and others to meet passive building standard. Bogle Architects have been appointed together with Energy Benefit Centre engineers to provide both architecture and high-end building engineering to meet the energy efficient target.
