Architect ARB BREEAM AP
Sylvia studied architecture in the United Kingdom and qualified as an Architect in 2021. Her master’s thesis, a parametric proposal titled Temple of Interaction, was selected for construction by the Black Rock City Honoraria Program. She received an award in an international competition for a conceptual intervention in the urban fabric and completed a certificate in Sustainable Urbanism with a master plan for Sesto Fiorentino in Tuscany.
She joined Bogle Architects in 2018. Her work has included international school designs, mixed-use developments, and an office and laboratory building at Oxford Science Park. She led the concept design for seven mixed-use blocks in Belgrade and is currently working on the transformation of a commercial block in Prague. In Saudi Arabia, she developed a site-specific scheme that balanced architectural vision with challenging environmental conditions.
Before joining the practice, she qualified as a BREEAM Accredited Professional and worked on commercial developments of various scales in the UK.
Her design approach is grounded in built form as a means of experience - spaces shaped to prompt reaction, carry meaning, and connect physically and emotionally with their users.
