'When we where asked to look at the Staromestka project, we knew it would have to be a sensitive yet contemporary intervention in the historical structure of Bratislava. The townscape has a strong character which immediately suggested to me that we should design a curvilinear appearance to create a counterpoint within the rich city texture. The set-back floors offer great views back towards the castle while while respecting street lines heights'
